Nashville Day #2

Today was largely about the Grinch. It was nuts. Everyone entering had to dawn big blue coats over top of the coats you were already wearing. Trust me when I say that you needed them! The entire exhibit is one big meat locker with Grinch sculptures out of ice. It was great, but very chilly!

The Mr. got the chance to meet his hero, so he was one happy little camper. (OK. He's still the grinch.)

The Grinch himself, he carved the roast beast! While we enjoyed sweet treats from Gigi's Cupcakes. L thought she should get their franchise card...and did. Amazing cupcakes!

We spent the evening at the Louise Mandrell Christmas Dinner Show. The food was incredible for a dinner theater and she is a talented musician. Our favorite part was when she played a bunch of different instruments.

And the Gaylord Hotel had one bar we had to check out. That hotel is a small city. It had unbelievable decorations and unbelievable crowds!

"You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch. You really are a heel. You're as cuddly as a cactus, You're as charming as an eel. Mr. Grinch"

Looks like you guys are having a great time!

Love the pictures! I want to see ice sculptures someday! I had no idea they could make them so colorful and neat looking!

If you ever make it to NYC, I have a few good places to get cupcakes from!

PS: For a moment I thought your husband was standing with me... I think I'm taking after the Grinch this year! :)

I thought about it, Paul! (That is one of my favorite scenes in "A Christmas Story!) But you know there have to be about 10 dozen kids who have already done it...no clean ice to be found!
