Through the eye of a new lens

I had to test out my new camera. I love the pictures AND it is so small it fits in my purse/computer bag. Messing around today, I found this round window in our golf club house room. And I had to get the shot of the grape hyacinth blooming where it was planted. (Or rather, where it was not planted!) I'm so happy with my birthday present--and three years from now I should know what all the different settings can do. Meanwhile, I will just have fun playing!

I am so excited for you and your new lens. Look at the signs of spring .... isn't it wonderful to think of what is to come. Think of all the wonderful photos you can take soon.

Happy Spring!
