Trees at the River

Well, there were a lot of trees at the river. Our town sits on the edge of a river that flows along its south side; the direction the tornado came from. A creek comes down from the north and joins up with the river. Trees at both places took a hard hit in the tornado. They were snapped off and uprooted. While cleanup concentrated on the town, the river area is being left as is. Because it was hit before the town, there is only tree debris. (No remains of houses or sheet metal.) I'm not even sure how you could begin to clear this area. What was once a beautiful tree-lined river is now a mass of mangled trees. I'm sure mother nature has a plan. Nature, if left to its own devices, gets along fine without our help.
