Blurring the Edges

I took this photo on the 4th of July. Two little ones, enjoying the fireworks. I'm not quite sure what happened to blur it, but I couldn't make myself delete it. There's something kind of sweet about it.

This photo reminds me a bit of the blurriness of life. Time blurs our memories. It softens the rough edges and washes the colors out a bit. We remember, but not with the clarity of the moment. Our memories become washed in our perspective of today.

Several blogs have been looking at the blur of photos lately. Alicia, Elk, and Georgia all have posted some blurry shots.

Blur happens! Sometimes I'm grateful for that.

I live in blur. "We remember, but not with the clarity of the moment." Uh. Sorta. My friend, P., tells me I need to take fish oil, I guess that would be to grease up the cogs in the wheels that haven't been turning these past couple of years. I'm going to go check out the blogs with the blurs. I like your blurry shot here. It's like children of the fog.

I really, really love this image. While I was in SF we went to the Conservatory of Flowers. I tried to take a blurry image out the window through all the condensation. It didn't work. Oh well. I can just enjoy yours. Today is my first day home after two and a half weeks of no blog visiting and very little blog posting. I'm suffering major withdrawals, I assure you. It's good to "see" you again.

My life is a blur lately - so I can relate. I wouldn't delete it either - every shot is capturing the moment - and this is a nice moment to capture.

Very sweet little guys here! I love your thought about our memories - sometimes I'm sad that they are fuzzy and at other times it is a blessing that the sharp edges have softened!
