Celebrating Red Hat Style

The ladies 50th Birthday tradition at our school: 50 and overs wear purple shirts and red hats, while the under 50's wear lavender. See the little one on the end in lavender. (It is a blur, I know.) She is getting her red hat today. We are two days late. *sigh* Trailer school makes all things more difficult! Happy 50 Senora E!

Is that you front and center? If it isn't, that lady sure looks like your daughters! What fun! My mom is a red hatter. As for me, I'm a pink hatter for four more years or a lavender shirter- whichever. I don't have a group, yet.

Here's to teachers who love to yuk it up and have a little fun :)

Yep--3rd from the left. This is my 50th and the last time we were in the hats.

I was going to say that the one in the middle left doesn't look like she's 50....without realizing it was you. SO there's a complement.
How wonderful to celebrate your middle ages like that, when I turned 40 it really sucked and I don't even want to think about 50!

Turning 50 brought on my 2nd childhood. But this time I'm old enough to know how to enjoy it more. It looks like your group does, too!
