Monday Inservice

I am headed out the door to inservice today, and my mind is in about a million other places.

*The Mr. has a Dr. appointment today to find out what the next step is.  My guess is that there will be a surgery before the end of the week.

*K and CT will have a sonogram this afternoon.  They are hopeful that they will find out the sex of the baby.  Originally, they were on opposite sides of that issue.  CT wanted to know.  K wanted the surprise.  She quickly figured out that CT was going to find out whether she did or not, and he isn't the best at keeping secrets!  I am going to try to go to this appointment with them.

*My little sophomore boy will start his chemotherapy by the end of the week.  He is never far from my thoughts.

*I really need to get at the spring cleaning.  It could be summer before there is time. Lately, laundry has been a challenge.  I'm guessing the windows and yard work can wait.

You might be wondering if my mind will be on our inservice?  Of course it will.  My cute former-student-turned-colleague made us an inservice bingo card with words likely to crop up.  Now, if my clever principal doesn't decide to read the list of words (we sent him a copy--thought the random bingo shouting might throw him), we'll be good to go.

Good times.  I really do love my job most days. And I love my colleagues every day.  (Well, almost all of them.  There's always a few....!)

Wishing you a lovely day Mrs. E. in spite of all that will be going on.

Wishing Mr. E well, and if surgery happens, may it go smoothly and may he recovery be swift.

Looking forward to hearing about the sonogram.

My heart goes out to your sophomore and his family at this time.

Hugs ~ FlowerLady

My best with all the doctors' appointments today.

Thank goodness for the technology of sonograms. We all want healthy children. However, in this day and age, when they get over the "bits and pieces" a big, gray, fuzzy dot should appear. ;-) Have fun today! And good luck to the man you evidently stole from cousin R.

Sounds like a fun way to get through an inservice.
It's wonderful you can go to the sonogram--I've never gotten to do that. But I always got a update from my daughter and am grateful for that.
It's difficult to make a TX appt. from Ohio!

I hope the best for all of you, esp. as your husband may be facing surgery.
