Another Pothole On Easy Street

I haven't posted for a few days.  It is easy to tell that the end of school is just around the corner.

Besides the end of the year hectic fun, I've been sick.  Motion sick.  Actually, some colleagues and I went to see the movie "Soul Surfer" on Monday evening.  The camera work was all over the place. Thirty minutes into the movie, I had to leave. (And that was probably 15 minutes too late.)

Nausea and dizziness persisted most of the evening.  It took me right back to my post stroke days.  The next morning I went to school, but as I completed tasks on the computer and walked the halls--it all came right back.  I went home at noon and spent a miserable afternoon and evening until we found the Dramamine. I've been taking it fairly regularly since then and am feeling much better.

I really wanted to see the movie.  I guess I will read the book instead.

The Mr. is scheduled to have his gall bladder out tomorrow.  I think he is more than ready.

Doesn't this sound like a weekend full of fun?  Yeah, I don't think so either.  However, maybe things will be back to normal soon.

Today is my Friday at school.  I need to have lesson plans ready for my sub tomorrow.  The plan is to clean my desk before I leave.  I feel like I've been gone more than I've been at school lately, and my desk looks like it!

So, that is how things are going on Easy Street--and it all seems about par for the course this spring!

Good luck to the Mr. I speak from experience: He will feel better without his gall bladder! Sorry about your dizziness. Hope it continues to improve.

My goodness, that movie must really be quite graphic. I'm not sure I want to see it now, I have quite a sensitive stomach myself. Please feel better soon. And good wishes coming your way for the Mr.
