Yesterday's Moment

A student was struggling with a task.  She came back to my desk to talk.  She stuttered.  She stammered. 

Finally, she shook her head to clear the cobwebs away and said, "I should have taken my meds today."

*sigh   Sometimes, I just don't ask.
