Fa La La La Frozen

Yes, the temperatures have taken a huge drop.  At this rate, Easy Street will never lose our snow and ice. 

So what did we do to celebrate the lower temperatures?  We went to the movies to see something colder:  Disney's Frozen.  

I like the fact that the girls in Disney movies are no longer waiting for men to rescue them.  They are assertive, heroic, and quite fine with or without a man. They rescue themselves.  Frozen continues this theme that has popped up in Tangled and Brave. 

Sunday afternoons are made for animated movies.  (OK.  The Mr. might think Sunday afternoons are made for football, and he usually wins. But not today.  Thank goodness for DVR.)

We're embracing the cold on Easy Street.
