Avoiding School

This is summer vacation. I'm trying to remember that. Filling my days with...

*Arnold Palmer's (equal parts tea and lemonade + lots of ice)
*hanging clothes outside to dry on the line
*filling bird feeders
*walking in the early morning while the town is waking up
*yard work
*cleaning closets and cupboards that I have ignored all year
*fresh cherries
*and books--lots of books

It's good to get a break. ENJOY! You'll have to pass along book suggestions when you have time.

Enjoy!
I am officially retired and am loving it. The pressure of that August deadline is off my shoulders and I don't need to stress over my to-do list as I have the rest of my life to do it! (I did take a financial cut as I retired at 61 with 16 years. I found due to health reasons, I just couldn't do four more years.)
