Heart Project

This was hanging on the door of my classroom on Sunday. The impetus behind the #PeytonHeartProject is touching and sad. A father launched the campaign after his 13 year old committed suicide after being bullied." Finding a heart is an open invitation for any and everyone to continue to spread kindness wherever they may go."

I had no idea who had hung it on the door handle to my room, but the sentiment was sweet. After posting a picture on Facebook and Instagram, a former student came forward and said this is a project that she and her kids participate in. She handed her kids several hearts after the play on Saturday night and told them to place them around school. Pretty sweet that one ended up on my door.

Sharing the love:  Love the life you live.

Sweet.

Sad story as to why this project was started though.
