When School Is Kicking My Buns

I've been back at school for three days. THREE days. And I'm exhausted.

Classes and rosters have changed a bit. Forensics season is starting with entry forms to complete, purchase orders for entry fees, and making sure students are ready to go. Auditions for the Spring Play are next week: "Father of the Bride." It is going to take some major organization skills to pull off classes and all these extra-curricular activities. To top it off, I have walked with K, gone to a basketball game, and attended a morning strength training class.

And then... this darn cold! My voice is better at times, but the cold is still hanging on...coughing, runny nose, super sexy low voice. OK, maybe not that last one.

Oh, and I've gone through an entire box of Kleenex since Dec. 17th and have made a good dent in the 2nd one. I've had Vicks on my nose and on the bottom of my feet. (Don't know about the bottom of the feet, but someone suggested it.) I've tried cough syrup (the good stuff), Tylenol PM, flonaise nasal spray, and Coricidin Day and Night. NOT all at the same time. (I don't think a rehab for recovering from cold medicine is a good thing.) You're sensing desperation aren't you? Me, too.

Tonight, I've had my pajamas on since 4:45. Quite comfy. I'm styling this outfit with a pair of woolly socks and a baggy sweater.

Exciting life I'm leading...!

We were fortunate to have a couple of days before the kids came back. I needed an extra one, though!
