Ten years ago today, I had a stroke skiing down a mountain on Spring Break. The world turned upside down literally and figuratively. I am so fortunate to have recovered completely.

K has an older friend (my age) who had a stroke several months ago. I'm not sure she will ever return home. Her life will never be the same.
And here I am counting my blessings ten years later. When I think of all I could have missed...!
I'm not quite sure why things work out the way they do, but I am quite grateful for the past ten years. Life is not perfect, but it sure is good!
