Crick in the neck

The is what my last few days have been like and what still remains for today and tomorrow:

Writing finals, creating study guides, finishing up the 9 weeks grading, recording reading points, grading finals, grading make-up work, recording final grades, recording 9 weeks and semester grades---

AND...

Lesson planning for next semester, running off rosters, creating seating charts for the change in classes, making copies for the first day back...

And I wonder why I get a crick in my neck and an ache in my shoulders every year at this time?

Give yourself a break! I haven't heard the term "crick in my neck" in ages! I like the way "crick" sounds.

Showing my age, aren't I?! I think my mom and Grandma always called it that--and I couldn't think of any other word to describe it! : ) I'm guessing there will be some young ones out there who won't have a clue what I'm talking about!

Wait a minute - I'm a 'youngin' and I use that phrase, too! (I can hear my girls now - Mom, why do you have a CRICKET in your NECK?!) Need some help grading? Or lesson planning? Ooooh...can I choose the books? :)

A hot bath and epson salts. That will fix it.
