Alicia from A New York City Life, my "Country Mouse City Mouse" photo partner, is stranded by the weather. Our Monday photo post will be posted a little later. She is hoping to arrive in NYC sometime today.
The weather has been a pain. (And the weathermen never get it right!) I am not running today. The streets are too slick. I'm hoping that the snow/ice melts off so I can run tomorrow. I am pretty tightly scheduled for being in shape enough to run the St. Pat's Day race. If the weather doesn't cooperate, it
If you don't hear much from me this week, don't assume anything bad is happening. I'm just treading like mad and trying to keep my head above water.

I'm with you on the weather has been a pain! We're expecting snow and sleet tomorrow and then a possible big storm for Thursday.
Good luck preparing your kids for the state tests!
Paddle, paddle and keep that head up!
I'll be thinking of you this week!
Mrs E hope you are well, have missed visiting you as often as I usually do this past week or so. Too much work and not enough play. We've also had more snow ... roll on spring weather for us all. I'll look forward to your next Country City photo installment. Hope you too have more blog time very soon - happy week until next time! xxx
You can do it! You care way too much about those kids and I have a sneaking feeling they know it. They won't let you down.
Sorry about the weather - things will work out. I'm hoping our weathermen have this "2 inches of snow and ick tonight" thing wrong - I'm tired of slippery, nerve-wracking commutes! I mean, there is supposed to be an upside to living in Texas! :)
Hang in there!
wheres our MONDAY PHOTO? ;) lol
Yikes! Hope things settle down! We had testing last week at school too. No real stress for me, but Marissa was a little nervous. I got my walk/run in on the treadmill tonight. Not brave enough to do the streets here. Hopefully soon though. Got a name for that pup yet?
Yea, in my next life I want to be a weatherman. lol Keep your spirits up! Spring is on the way.
We have something similar, for grades 4, 7, & 9....some kind of program that is supposed to rate scools. A lot of parents don't agree with them though, saying some schools haver an unfair advantage & they put too much pressure on kids when the time could be better spent with their regular studies. My kids never sweated over it, to tell the truth they couldn't give a rat's behind at the time!
Got it.
I echo Katie's comment from above: You can do it!
Weather creates so many moods. With our heat - mine is exhaustion.
I know exactly what's that like. UGH! Thinking of you.
