Puppy Day

I don't know if I've ever been this happy for a Friday.  Our students are wound, and this teacher is not.  (The weather has to be about to do something drastic.  Or a full moon maybe??) I really can't wait for testing days to be over.  I think know I'm more concerned with how the students fare than they are--which always makes me panic nervous.  By next Wednesday, it will all be over.  So be it.  Amen. Whew.

Tonight we are picking up our still nameless puppy.  His "nest" on Easy Street is all ready to go.  I'm pretty sure he is going to be just the distraction I need this weekend to take my mind off of school.  You might be thinking, wouldn't it be easier just to drink??  Why, yes it would--and thank you for reminding me that I may be nuts getting a dog.

Happy Fly-Day! Happy Weekend!

Oh, mrs. e, this reminded me that when my kids are taking state tests, I always tell them, "Don't worry, it's just a state test." They still do their best work anyway and make their teachers proud! Hope your students do, too!

Can't wait to hear the puppy stories!

Don't forget the pictures! Maren keeps asking me if you got your puppy yet. I am not certifiably crazy about dogs, but I sure do love our Harry. They are worth the hassle and then some.

Can't wait to find out the name. And you arent' crazy to get a puppy. I'd like to get a puppy. I've always wanted one. Just nobody home on some days, so don't know what would happen to puppy then.

Oh, I can't wait to catch up and read all about the puppy! I'm sure he has a name, but I'm partial to Grover. And then when he's silly, you can call him SuperGrover. (I might be picturing your puppy in a SuperGrover cape. heh.)
