Saturday List- Small Annoyances

These are some small things that don't amount to a hill of beans but annoy me.  Maybe if I write them down, they won't annoy me any more!

*The smell of Target's bathroom deodorizer--ugh!  All the wonderful scents out there, and they choose a horrible one that smells like licorice.  I hate to use the restroom at Target.

*Horse flies.  Those things are huge.  They bite.  What possible purpose can they serve? 

*Humidity.  I don't have a hair style that holds up to it.  Shiny isn't my best complexion color.  Mosquitoes think they can get a sip of liquid off of the sweat on my arms. (Well, that sounds better than sucking my blood!)

*While we're on it:  mosquitoes. 

*Lately, I have had contact with several people who think the way they live is the way everyone should live. *sigh*  Grin and pretend to listen. I'm getting pretty good at that!

*Cigarette butts.  The pool area always needs to be cleaned of them.  There is a container for the finished cigarettes.  Nope.  They are left on the cement for me to pick up. 

Enough complaining!  The good stuff:

*When the needle on the scale goes down and down. 

*Running, even in this heat and humidity, is getting easier.

*K's good friend gave birth to an adorable baby girl yesterday!  Little Sloane is coming into this world so loved!

*Any Saturday.  Even Saturdays when I have to work at the pool.  Saturdays are just pretty darn good!
