This is our new church. It isn't done, but it is getting closer!
No pews yet, but the carpet and stained glass windows are in place.
This is the view from the balcony. And right between those tall stained glass windows?
The altar cross from our old church. Some of you might remember that this cross was still standing after the tornadao went through in 2008.
It was a sign of hope to our whole community. And it still gives me goosebumps.
It has taken a long time, but it will be standing again. Progress. Bit by bit the rebuilding goes on.

It looks beautiful, and the cross standing was an amazing thing after the tornado. It will be exciting to be back in the sanctuary.
I love the stained glass in your new church. One of the most memorable images from the tornado was the one of the cross still standing. I agree with you: It's a goosebump moment. I'm celebrating with you as you look forward to being back in a sanctuary!
I have goosebumps, too, imagining how beautiful and meaningful it will be to see that cross between those gorgeous windows.
What wonderful reassurance to have the cross still standing after the tornado! Your church will be beautiful.
