To Gaze or To Work?

This is why I have had so much trouble with my move into our school...

#1. It is beautiful.  I just wanted time to walk around and take it all in.
#2.  All of my posters look a little too ratty for such a beautiful room.
#3. When there are 20 boxes, it is hard to figure out where to start.
#4.  Once I put something in one place (ex. 150 textbooks), I'd discover that they had to be moved to another location. *sigh*
#5.  It was hard to figure out the best location for different supplies. (See #4)
#6.  It is beautiful:  the carpet, walls, cabinetry, and storage closet.
#7.  I'd go to the office and find myself stopping to admire other rooms.
#8.  No telephones or Internet meant any time I needed to know something, I would have to leave my room.
#9.  I'd discover that I left something in the trailer that I really needed and would have to return to pick it up. And that made my new room look all the better!
#10 The new walls mean that administration has definite ideas about how anything can be affixed to the wall.
#11. It is just beautiful.  I just had to stop and admire.

I'll share one picture today.  This is the view of my room from my desk.
I'm not finished with my room yet, but look how much space I have!  And if I ever figure out what to put on that front wall, I'll let you know.  It is going to be a surprise to me, too!

Beautiful!  That's all I can say!

what caught my eye was how shiny the table/chair legs are!! Much to nice to stick wads of gum under!

Oh, Joyce--I hope you're right! B. your envy is understandable--but I wouldn't put anyone through the last couple of years to get there!

What a beautiful classroom, Cousin! I'm so glad the turmoil of tornado reconstruction ended with a very good outcome.
