Back to School

Today is the last day of Spring Break.  I've enjoyed every minute of it.

I'm excited to go back to school because:  We have exactly nine weeks left.  Testing is over. I get to teach my favorite novel.  I have nine more weeks to enjoy my beautiful new classroom and this group of students.

Right before break, an in-school printing business made new posters for me.  They are photos of mine, and I had them add the text for me.  They printed them on poster board, and I framed the finished work.  Now I will have time to enjoy them.

Here are a couple of them. You can click on them to see them larger.
One line is repeated on every poster.  "Life is short.  Stay awake for it."

That's probably a good thing to tell myself on this snowy, lazy Sunday evening!

These are AWESOME! I cannot wait to see them when I visit in April!!! What's with the wintery weather in spring!! We had two mornings of snow last week and FRIGID cold temperatures for days now!!

Very cool! Your walls look almost the same color that my friend auburnchick painted her classroom! We only have 7 more Mondays left; that's not counting the Monday after Easter since it's a staff development day! The countdown is ON!

Great photos and text. You have a huge classroom. That has registered to me before now, but the above photo showing those posters spaced out on the wall with a row of computers under them---that's a double wow!
In-school printing business? We have one color printer in the entire school and it's used for year book. We don't even have a copy printer that does color! I guess that's a part of being the school district with the highest poverty level in 5 counties----smack dab in the middle of Appallachia. But hey, the scenery is outstanding!:)
I'm so glad you could enjoy your break and successfully jump that last hurdle of snow skiing again.
