The girls were learning their "girls" numbers last night. At one point the harmony was really ugly: strange intervals and just extremely difficult. I suggested we switch to unison for three measures to make it easier and sound stronger and better at the same time.
And from the back of the room, a sweet little girl raised her hand and asked, "What's unison?" *sigh* Bless. Her. Heart.
