The Treats

First of all, I can't remember the last Halloween night that was so beautiful.  The little ones didn't get cold or windblown or wet or snowed on.  (Seems like we've seen it all through the years!)

Here is the Lady Bug's first Halloween!  Her costume was..... a Lady Bug.  Quite a shocker there!
A little mermaid stopped by to hold her.  By this time, she was cooking in her costume, so we had begun undressing her.  (Most years her costume would have been perfect.)

I even had time to hold the little Bug and hand out some candy, too.  There were lots of trick or treaters out on such a wonderful evening.  The streets of Tiny Town were full of parents and kids walking from house to house.

Best costume:  an 18 month old dressed as a prize fighter.  My pictures didn't turn out, but he was adorable!

To be honest, the whole evening was a treat!

What a cute Lady Bug! We don't get trick or treaters out in the boonies. We may have to go visit a certain little someone next Halloween. (Good luck with the musical rehearsals! I would be a nervous wreck! But these things always seem to come together at just the right time.)

So cool that Tiny Town still has the traditional Halloween!
That has got to be the cutest lady bug I've ever seen! :)

Looks as if you all had a great first Halloween with Ladybug. Blueberry was Supergirl, and enjoyed her first trunk-or-treat and a hayrack ride, pulled by horses. When I get to feeling better, I'll post photos.
