Outpatient

The Mr. had some outpatient surgery yesterday. You know, where you go in, have the surgery, and leave the same day.  Great concept; rarely works.  He's had outpatient surgery before and been in the hospital for 3 or 4 days.  Yesterday, I brought him home.  Quite shocking for both of us.  

Without going into the gory details, the Mr. has a lot more sympathy for women giving birth.  There are areas of our bodies that we just don't like people messing with.  Men are no exception here.  In fact, they might have more issues than women! Painkillers and bags of frozen vegetables (ice packs!) are his new friends. (I should add that K, CT, and L don't plan to eat vegetables at our house for a good long time!)

Before his surgery, he told the nurses he would be back at work on Thursday.  (They begged to differ.)  After his surgery, he was re-thinking that without prompting from the nurses or from me.

He's moving slowly, but he is home.  So far, so good.

Oh, and when he starts wrecking my summer fun, I'm sending him back to work!  Consider this fair warning, those of you in RV World.
