Random Tuesday

*Yesterday was the 4th anniversary of the Tiny Town Tornado.  I am so used to the changes, that I sometimes forget that we went through all of that.  (Though it still makes me sick to my stomach to think back on those first few months in town and the years of Trailer High!)

*Our Bible School had 76 students that attended.  Of course, all of them didn't make it for the program on Sunday, but it sure is fun to see those little ones in our church.  (A new church after the tornado.)
*You can probably tell from the picture that the Mr. and I had to sit in the balcony.  We had a lot of extra people in church for the program.  This was probably not my smartest move.  The Mr. discovered that if he sits up there, the Rev. can't see him if he sleeps.  *sigh*  Oh, and a colleague was making paper airplanes that he sailed off the balcony at the conclusion of the service. (He might have signed the Mr.'s name to them!) *double sigh*

*K, the Bug, and I took a day trip to Big City yesterday.  First stop:  Auntie L's.  Then we went to The Coffeehouse so that K and L could catch up with old friends.  Three of K's girlfriends had babies in a three month period last year.  The babies had never met.  The Bug is the oldest and most mobile. (I was going to say most aggressive, but...!!)  Besides K, J, and B with their little ones, their fourth friend M was there, too. Her second little one is due in the next month.  So there were four babies there, if you count the one in utero!

Tiff at the Coffeehouse is another little sister, like L.  She graciously volunteered to be the hostess, so I got to see her house.  It is such a beautiful home, and she has a chocolate Lab that the Lady Bug loved!  I also had a chance to catch up with Tiff & J's mom.  She was a good friend when she lived in Tiny Town area, and I miss her now that she has moved away.  It was so good to see her.

The three babies are all the same weight and just adorable. They were totally the center of attention.  (I think they knew that!)
J is the only boy, so he had his work cut out for him.  He's also pretty laid back and as sweet as can be.  I think the girls will be chasing him around in the future.  Little M, in the pink headband, has the longest eyelashes and prettiest eyes!  The Bug liked her eyes so well that she would crawl over and try to grab them for her own.  (yikes!)  The other two napped a bit here and there, but Buggy didn't think she needed to.  By the time we left, she was in meltdown mode.  We hadn't even backed out the drive, and she was sound asleep.  She slept for about 20 minutes, and then Aunt L bought her some frozen yogurt.  Does Auntie L know the way to her heart or what??!  Thankfully, she went back to sleep and slept all the way home to Tiny Town.

*Today the Bug is at her new sitter's house. K said she was already in the toy room playing before she left.  New babysitter volunteered to pinch the Bug so she would cry when Mommy left.  I think K was relieved that there weren't any tears.  AND, the Bug gets to go to the pool this afternoon with the big kids at the sitter's.  It's a big day!

*I'm lunching with a colleague today, and then I figure it is time to start some summer work on school things for next fall.  If I don't, I'll leave it all until the end of the summer, and then I'll be in a panic.  I'm living proof that even if teachers don't teach during the summer,  the teacher's head is still in school.  Always will be, I guess.

Aww such a cute photo - looks like they are all enjoying themselves and not getting into too much mischief!

Little Bug and Luca have grown sooo much - Luca is ten months next week so she must be a little older now? He is into EVERYTHING! x
