L is back in Big City and planning to go back to school today. She has her voice back and sounds much better. The coughing attacks are fewer, but she will be taking her breathing machine to school for the noon treatment. She is so excited to see her kiddos. Hope she isn't too tired by the end of the day.
It feels like school is officially underway with the beginning of all the games this week. Well, that...and I'm getting behind on grading. That combination tells me school is in full swing!

Just been catching up with life on Not So Easy Street. Sorry L has had such a rough time and yes, the fact that they are adults doesn't make any difference to how much we worry about them when they are ill or in trouble.
Hope she got through the day OK. Like you, my wife can always tell when term is underway by how far behind she is in her marking the work of her students. But her students are adults and unlike children they pester for their marks!
