Another Snow Day

We were to be off school today anyway, but schools around the state are enjoying another snow day.  We've had somewhere between 10 and 12 inches of snow.  (I think!  The drifts make it hard to tell!)

On tap here today?

I really should wash my hair.  (Yeah, you don't want to know!)

A trip to historic town or J town is in order.  I can't find my snow boots anywhere.  (I'm wondering if one of the girls got away with them????)  Anyway, I'm heading to the farm stores to find a pair of boots I can walk in.   These drifts require boots!

A family potluck dinner of leftovers.  On the menu?  Red Beans and Rice from my house.  Wine.  And for dessert--maybe some snow ice cream.

I was going to put all my snowmen away, but the last few days have had me rethinking that!

At some point, I really need to clean house.  If I do it today, I can play tomorrow and Sunday.

 I do love how snow covers all the ugliness and makes the world a bit softer and lovelier.
