Welp...

(In case you don't know, welp is a good Midwestern word.  Kind of a combination of well and help.  I might have made that up, but I'm telling this story.)

No school again today.  They called it last night.

State Testing and the show have me a bit freaked out, but I can only do what I can do.

So...

I stayed up watching the Oscars.  (And the fact that I thought the host looked an awful lot like Peter Brady probably shows my age!)

Since my lesson plans are done, I plan to read the latest Oprah magazine today.  Oh, and make vegetable soup.

A wild and crazy day, eh?

Who am I kidding?  My lesson plans have to change to cram in everything for the State Assessments.

And if the snow doesn't hit, I am calling to see if anyone is at school so I can get a purchase order for the play. Then, I'll make a quick trip to J town.  (Doing what I can under not great circumstances.)

Plans for today?  Yeah, I'm not really sure.

Mother Nature seems to be running things again--you'd think I'd be used to that by now!

My husband said the same thing about peter brady. I don't know your exact location but I am pretty sure the storm came through. Hope you are warm and dry.

I didn't watch the Oscars, but knowing who Seth McFarland is, yes, I can see the Peter Brady in him (I was always partial to Bobby myself, closer in age!) Hope you didn't have to dig out too much from under the snow, been there, done that. Any hey, all those snow days, the kids ought to have those lines memorized in their sleep by now! No excuses for them!
