Relief

The Mr.'s cardiologist was not of the same mind as his family physician.  He read the results differently and his initial reaction is that the Mr.'s issues are related to sleep apnea.  The medicine that he currently takes for that may be adding to the problem.  So....

There will be a couple more tests before everything is concluded, but it looks like the Mr. is going to have to overcome his claustrophobia and deal with the C-Pap machine.  (Heck, I might have to try it!)  If the other tests show any concern, then there will be further tests.  Right now, it looks like that might not be needed.

No cardiomyopathy. I can't tell you what a relief that is.

Whew...!

A relief for sure and good news to hear. I can understand the claustrophobia with the c-pap machine though, know a couple of people that use it and it helps them.

Love and hugs and prayers for you and Mr. E.

Mr. E can do this! I've managed to use mine for two years now and wouldn't go without it. Crazy Cousin Rea laughed out loud when I told her I just wanted to "hook up" and go to sleep the night those two other crazy cousins kept us up reaaaaaaallllly late! There are options for c-pap "gear" other than the whole facial mask thing. Have him check into the "nose pillow thingy". Good luck! JKO
