Rain and Sunshine

Gratitude 365  Day #144

We've had a LOT of rain lately. The river is flooding. The creek is flooding. Basements are flooding. All that being said, I am still grateful for rain. Last summer we had a terrible drought, so this spring's rain has been needed. And now I believe that we are good for awhile.

I also appreciate sunshine. The city pool is supposed to open this weekend, but with the forecast that will probably be delayed. I'm pretty sure that there will be disappointed kids in town.

It takes both rain and sunshine to make the flowers and crops grow. We definitely need one to appreciate the other.
