Today is moving day for L. She is moving into an apartment in U town in an old home that has been converted into several apartments. L is more than ready to be on her own again. She had grown used to not having parents around all the time. So...
That means the Mr. and I are getting our house back. We had gotten quite used to our empty nest and doing things on our own time and schedule. We didn't have to share the kitchen, television or laundry room. We'll be on our own again. It has been fun having L here, but she likes her independence--and we like that, too.
Baxter will have one less "parent" in the house.
I think that means this move is a good thing for all of us!
