First Days

The first day of school went great.  I'm anticipating a good year.  (Though I could have done without the oohing and ahhing over the fact that this was my 30th year at Tiny Town High.  You could see their little brains trying to figure out how old I am!  The answer:  O-L-D!) 

And then there are the first days of the Lady Bug:

 

 I finally have a picture of Lady Bug and her Mama.  They look like a perfect pair!

And do you think her daddy likes her?  K tells us that she is already a Daddy's girl.

And a new little family is born.  I think Lady Bug is coming home tomorrow.  Coming soon: a family picture with Khallie the black lab who has missed K something terrible.   As nice as it is to be in the hospital where the "experts" are there to help, I think this is one family who will be happy to be home.  And I don't mind one bit that "home" is in Tiny Town!
