Ordering groceries on my phone, and then having them delivered to the car when I pull up to the store is wonderful. When I order, I set an approximate time for pickup, and then I check in on my phone to let them know I am on my way. They are usually waiting for me.
This must be a bit like my Great Aunt Audrey having her groceries delivered to her house. I’ve never known that luxury, but this is pretty great. Bypassing a trek through the store is a great way to avoid impulse buying, and my grocery bill is smaller.
So far, the only downside is when I forget something. And that happens whether I go into the store or not!
Online ordering has been terrific. I hope this way of shopping is here to stay.
