Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that it is Thursday!  I wasn't sure it was going to get here this week.

I'm thankful that I still have 16 rehearsals (count 'em folks!) before the musical opens.  (Just typing that makes me kind of sick to my stomach!)

I'm truly thankful that even with two left feet, I managed to choreograph three numbers for the girls--and that they didn't hate them.  They are actually quite fun, though they require more energy than dance skills.

The music situation is finally under control.  I think.  Lord, I hope so.  And if it is-- well, I'm not sure thankful comes close to how relieved I am.

I'm thankful for spirit weeks and bonfires and youthful enthusiasm for craziness.

I'm incredibly grateful that the nine weeks is almost over.

On the flip side:

A sarcastic thank you very much to my LCD projector which seems to be dying a slow, ugly death.  I only use the darn thing every day.  *sigh*

Yeah, I'm still supposed to be teaching.  I think I figured out why the drama teacher directs the plays.  They have a class or two that can actually work on the show.  Me?  Not so much.

And that is why the show keeps me awake at night. I can't work on it during the day, so I "work on it" in the middle of the night.  Lovely.  Just lovely.
