I spent most of this weekend working on a sample research paper for my students. I researched a topic, searched for information, wrote the paper with in-text citations, and wrote the works cited page.
They now have a paper to refer to when they need it. Documenting is hard for high school students. Plagiarizing? You'd think it was a foreign concept, yet they've heard it all before.
Then, my internet has been working only randomly all weekend.. After an hour on the phone on Sunday, we finally have it back. The Mr. and I were both on the phone with a girl we were pretty sure was in India. (And that might be the reason there are so many unemployed people in the USA: outsourcing for cheaper labor.)
To top it off, the Little Lady Bug has been sick. Her first fever, sniffles, and cough. Her mother is a bit panicked. I think the Buggie may be going to see her Dr. today.
To be honest, it wasn't all that much fun as weekends go. I guess the bar is set pretty low, so weekends are bound to be more fun for the rest of 2012. A girl can hope.

I've heard that you can request to speak with someone in the U.S. if you think you've gotten somebody in India.
Those first colds are the worst, aren't they? Your baby can't breathe, and there's nothing they can do for her.
