Quite A Christmas

Baxter had quite a Christmas.  He destroyed both toys from Santa in less than half a day.  The red plastic candy cane didn't stand a chance.  He chewed the end off of it in about 20 minutes.

Then that goofy Mrs. Santa also had Santa deliver a red and green Christmas slipper toy.  It was stuffed.  It was cute.  And it brought about an hour of enjoyment before Baxter had torn a hole in it and started pulling out the stuffing.  You might think we were through at this point, but no...
That slipper provided hours of tug-of-war fun for Khalie and Baxter.  One would get it and taunt the other with it.  The little one was as bad as the big one.  They went round and round.  It was actually quite comical.

And Baxter was so sad when Khalie went home.  Exhausted, but sad!

So now we are on the hunt for the next "indestructible" toy.  So far, nothing lasts long.  I don't think they make cast iron dog chews.  I've said it before, I'll say it again:  It's a good thing he's cute!

I always give ginger presets wrapped up in a bunch of plastic bags... she's more excited about tearing thru those than the presents themselves :)

Atleast Baxter is sticking to the dog appropriate toys. Harry has developed an affinity for ipod ear buds. sigh and double sigh
